Parker Jazz Club presents legendary trombonist, John Fedchock in this one-night-only event. The sound of his quartet is that of classic jazz at it’s finest. The group will perform music from Fedchock’s critically acclaimed recordings, spanning his four-decade career, including catchy Fedchock originals as well as his unique arrangements of jazz standards and favorites from the American songbook. Featured alongside Fedchock will be an all-star Austin rhythm section of Ryan Davis (piano), Ben Triesch (bass) and Jeremy Bruch (drums). This is a one-time event not to be missed! Fedchock’s illustrious career in jazz has spanned over four decades. Since his emergence on the scene, Fedchock has established himself as a world-class soloist, a heralded bandleader, and a GRAMMY-nominated arranger. An in-demand performer and writer in New York City, his multifaceted talents have led him to become one of NYC’s premier jazz artists. His many recordings have appeared in jazz radio’s Top Ten and in recognition of his writing skills, Fedchock is a two-time GRAMMY nominee for Instrumental Arranging. Fedchock began his career touring with the legendary Woody Herman, also serving as chief arranger for Herman's last two GRAMMY-nominated albums. He has toured with T.S. Monk, Gerry Mulligan, Louie Bellson, Jon Faddis, and the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band.
