Parker Jazz Club Presents... Nestor Torres!

Parker Jazz Club welcomes back our dear friend NESTOR TORRES! Nestor is a master flautist and one of the most dynamic performers we've hosted.

Latin GRAMMY Award-winning flutist Nestor Torres brings a vibrant, danceable sound that fuses Latin jazz, Cuban charanga, and classical virtuosity, unlike anything else on the flute.

Born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Torres trained at Mannes School of Music, Berklee College of Music, and New England Conservatory, a rare pedigree that shows in every note. His album This Side of Paradise won Best Pop Instrumental Album at the 2001 Latin GRAMMY Awards, one of 18 solo recordings that have earned him four Latin GRAMMY nominations and a GRAMMY nomination.

Torres has performed alongside Gloria Estefan, Herbie Hancock, and Tito Puente, and with the Cleveland, Singapore, and New World Symphony Orchestras. He's also received two honorary doctorates for his lifelong commitment to music education.
